The story behind GlobalizeMe

GlobalizeMe was founded in 2000 as a language services company specializing in software localization and has since developed into an innovative tech services company with teams in four countries: the Netherlands, the UK, Portugal and India. We have strong in-house teams with specialists ranging from software designers and developers to cloud experts and localization consultants and on top of that we work with an ecosystem of thoroughly vetted partners and suppliers.

Compliance is a keyword at GlobalizeMe – we comply with legal standards, such as EU GDPR legislation, we comply with industry standards, such as ISO17100:2015 and ISO27001:2022, and we comply with partner and client standards, such as the partner qualification requirements of SAP and AWS. We’re an agile company where your requirements lead.

Our Timeline

2000

GlobalizeMe was founded in 2000, at the end of the internet bubble of the nineties. Netherlands-based, the company initially grew into a translation & software localization service provider, serving a number of major software brands through their Netherlands subsidiary.

2006

The need to spread geographically arose as GlobalizeMe increasingly sold its services to large international enterprises. In 2006 a shared services centre was launched in Bangalore, India. This hub still provides project management, development, testing and support services to GlobalizeMe clients worldwide.

2009

In 2009 GlobalizeMe extended its offering from just language services to a wide range of agile tech services through its GlobalizeMe Digital division, which helps companies to design, build, test, host and maintain the web and mobile applications that they need to grow in a rapidly changing economic reality. The main mission of this unit is to supply cutting-edge web, cloud and app technology at affordable rates, directly to end clients or under a white label to main contractors.

2010

In 2010 GlobalizeMe became a SAP Language Service Partner. It currently is the only company in the Netherlands holding this position and one of only a few dozen worldwide. This partnership is testimony to GlobalizeMe's software localization expertise, which allows it to help not just SAP but also SAP partners and customers to streamline their localization of SAP solutions into multiple languages.

2015

In 2015 GlobalizeMe embarked on its journey as an AWS partner by becoming an AWS Consulting Partner. And we've evolved a lot since then, upgrading our partnership to that of an AWS Select Consulting Partner and Solution Provider over time. We are authorized to assist with the architecture, build, support and re-sale of AWS services globally. With an audit every second year we can be relied on for enterprise level implementation and support services.

2022

In this year GlobalizeMe became a software product company with the introduction of its home-grown cutting-edge project management suite FlowDezk. FlowDezk is the perfect flexible solution for companies that need to adapt their project-based workflow to the rapidly changing reality of their industry. FlowDezk is fully customizable and the ideal blend of GlobalizeMe's project workflow knowledge and agile software development expertise.
