DTP & File Conversion
DTP requires skills and tools. But DTP isn't design and therefore we think our clients shouldn't pay excessive rates for this type of service. Our DTP team is a skilled workforce that can handle almost any file type and/or lay-out. Here's some of the services that we perform:
- Lay-out and typesetting: whether the initial document is a hard copy, a "flat" translation of a file that needs to look like the original layed-out specimen or a draft document that needs to be improved to meet specific company standards or to be prepared for print, we'll make sure your specifications are carefully followed.
- Graphics localization: if you need to have images with text localized for translated documents or other purposes, we'll re-create the graphics and insert translated text.
- File conversion: need to have content converted into expressive XML/SGML or to have Framemaker, Indesign or other format files converted to files that can be processed by CAT (computer aided translation) tools and back to the original format? We'll do the process from start to end, including translation, if needed.
